1.  California-Nevada-Hawaii (CNH) District ScholarshipsAvailable to both Key Club. KIWINS, and Circle K members.  Applicants submit their applications directly to the CNH Foundation online without going through the club.  The application deadline is usually mid-February.  For more information, go to Expect new deadlines to be updated in January of each new year.

2.   Robert A. Headland Scholarship (Division 15). This scholarship is a one-time award with no renewals.  Each club in Division 15 may submit one official Headland application.  Scholarship recipients are selected by the Past Division Lieutenant Governors, who also determine the amount of the award. The sponsoring Kiwanis club notifies the awardee.  Applicants do not need to be members of Circle K or Key Club, but membership is considered a plus.  Claremont Kiwanis will consider applications from seniors at either Claremont High School or San Antonio High School and from students at the Claremont Colleges.  The club’s Scholarship Committee determines which student best fits the criteria through an interview process. 3.  Stan Larson Scholarship (Kiwanis Club of Claremont Foundation) This scholarship program is administered by the club’s foundation and is named for Stan Larson, a former editor of the Claremont Courier and a longtime member of Claremont Kiwanis.  The club awards new scholarships each year to graduating seniors from Claremont High School and/or San Antonio High School.  These scholarships are renewed annually for a period of up to four years, provided the recipient stays in school, pursues an accredited course of study, and provides documentation of that course of study and enrollment for each year. The annual award is $750.00 making the full value of the scholarship $3,000 for a four-year bachelor degree program or $1,500 for a two-year career-technical program. Applicants for the Larson Scholarship need not be members of Key Club, but membership is considered a plus.  For the 2018 Larson Scholarship, the application deadline is May 14.  Interviews will be held on May 22.
